HCA Florida-North Florida Hospital Emergency Envelope Repair

  • Project Owner: Renovated the space to provide Offices and support areas for cardiology team. 1500 Square feet. Relocated restroom facilities to create new Cath Lab and control room for the cath. Oversee the installation of new cath lab equipment with Striker and GE All new utilities had to be provided on some of the busiest corridors of the hospital with only minor impact to the daily operations. Never shutting down the facility. Heavily scheduled and planned outages with the hospital allowed them to maintain operations. Including all lead lined assemblies passing all the required testing. Scorpio also oversaw that installation of a new highly durable specialty flooring by Osborn Contract Services.

Immediate response and mobilization was required for this Envelope Repair at HCA Florida-North Florida Hospital. The expedited work involved exterior HVAC repairs, roofing, lightning protection, and waterproofing. Damage was caused because of Hurricane Irma and required immediate support to ensure the hospital could maintain proper operation and no further damage occurred.
