Harn Museum of Art American Art Wing

Scorpio partnered with the University of Florida and DLR Group to transform existing spaces within the Harn Museum of Art into an expanded gallery and enhanced educational environment.

The renovation repurposed administrative areas into a new 3,600-square-foot exhibition gallery, creating an inviting entrance experience for visitors, while modernizing the nearly 1,000-square-foot Bishop Study Center to better support university classes, research, and engagement with the museum’s collection. Additional improvements included renovations to administrative offices, the Director’s Suite and Conference Room, Visitor Services, and back-of-house spaces. Completed while the museum remained open to the public, the project enhances the Harn’s ability to showcase its collection, serve the university community, and welcome visitors.
