University of Florida Swimming and Diving Program's Locker Room Renovations
The University of Florida Gators swimming and diving program, comprised of separate men’s and women’s NCAA Division I teams competing in the Southeastern Conference, trains and hosts home meets at the O’Connell Center in Gainesville.
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the student-athlete experience, the program received a major renovation to its locker room facilities. The 3,172 sf project included upgrades to the existing men’s and women’s swim and dive locker rooms, the Gatorade Fuel Station, and the coaches’ locker rooms. Improvements also included a new HVAC system along with updated electrical and plumbing systems. This renovation supported both performance and recruitment by providing modern, functional spaces that align with the Gator tradition of excellence and championship pedigree.
