The annual Best Companies list has been released and is featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine. One hundred companies were ranked in small, medium, and large employer categories. Scorpio is thrilled to make the list and rank number 22 in the Small Companies category in our first year participating.
The Best Companies to Work for in Florida is a well-known survey and awards program that honors employers in Florida that are making their workplaces great. Companies that participate must first complete a questionnaire about company policies, practices, and demographics. Then the company’s employees must participate in an Employee Feedback Survey, where employees anonymously respond to 72 statements. The survey includes two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions focusing on leadership and planning, corporate culture, and communications. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final rankings.
