Located on the Kennedy Middle School campus in Rockledge, Florida, the new Mid County Separate Day School will provide a supportive, structured educational environment designed to meet the unique academic and emotional needs of its students. The new 44,000-square-foot stand-alone facility emphasizes individualized education and counseling, fostering accountability, love, respect, and acceptance within a public school atmosphere. The project includes the construction of a modern, purpose-built school featuring a cafeteria and multipurpose room with an ancillary stage, faculty lounge and restrooms, student restrooms, and a mechanical room. The facility will be equipped with dedicated spaces that encourage learning consistency, real-world problem-solving, and student growth through individualized attention and support services.
Comprehensive site improvements will accompany the new construction, including modifications to parking and traffic circulation with new bus and parent drop-off loops, additional parking areas, and enhanced pedestrian pathways. Landscaping and stormwater management systems will be integrated throughout the site to create a safe and welcoming environment.
