Center Stage, Reimagined.

Scorpio partnered with Daytona State College to modernize its signature outdoor performance venue. The project included a comprehensive upgrade of the amphitheater, beginning with the extension of the existing roof structure to the north and south, and the reshaping and expansion of the ground-level seating bowl to improve comfort and sightlines. Energy-efficient LED fixtures were installed throughout the shade structure, while the stage was equipped with professional theatrical lighting and a modernized audiovisual system capable of supporting a wide range of events.

Site improvements featured the construction of a dedicated service road to the stage, an upgraded pedestrian walkway connecting the amphitheater to the main campus, and a new vehicular access route. A continuous line of pole lighting was installed along the 600-foot walkway and drive, ensuring safe, convenient passage for students, faculty, and guests.
