Florida Department of Health Fleming Island Office Renovations

The County relocated the medical offices and operations of the Clay County Department of Health facilities to a new, state-of-the-art location. Our project aims to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency, setting a new standard for community health services. The mission of the Clay County Department of Health is to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county and community efforts.

The Scope of Work is comprehensive, encompassing general and selective demolition, along with renovations and interior build-out of Buildings 400 and 600. Each building underwent a complete transformation, with all-new floor plans meticulously crafted to support the new healthcare functions. From new interior finishes in existing office areas/suites to cutting-edge mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, every aspect of the project was designed to elevate the healthcare experience.

The facility boasts a range of modern amenities, including new waiting rooms, check-in/out counters, a nurses’ station, 13 exam rooms, dedicated spaces for medicine and nutrition, advanced laboratories, areas for disease control and decontamination, as well as administrative and assembly areas.
