Oak Hammock Retirement Community Campus Expansion

Scorpio is managing a major expansion and renovation at Oak Hammock at the University of Florida, a premier life plan community in Gainesville. In collaboration with the owner’s representative, Greystone, the project enhances Oak Hammock’s independent living offerings while reimagining core community spaces. The expansion includes new multi-story apartment buildings with below-grade parking, designed to elevate the resident experience and support future growth.

Renovations to the existing main building will refresh common and dining areas with a new layout that includes casual and exterior dining, lounge space, a flex bar, and upgraded finishes throughout. These improvements are aimed at enhancing resident comfort, functionality, and community engagement.
