  • Completion Date: September 2020
  • Project Size: 12,000sf
  • Partners: Hafner Architects Inc.

Community Partner

Drummond Community Bank, named after Mr. Luther W. Drummond (1888-1973), Chiefland’s first banker, first accepted deposits in January, 1990 and gained instant success. Serving the surrounding areas since Drummond Community Bank is now the only locally owned and locally managed bank in the region. This new three-story glass office building will be located on Archer Road and serves as Drummond’s first free-standing bank within the city of Gainesville. The contemporary design is meant to illustrate not only Drummond’s commitment to transparency in banking but their commitment to the growing client base in Gainesville.

The open site will be carefully developed to preserve the adjacent wetlands, and once completed will be a stunning addition to the area.
