Delta Delta Delta at UF Sorority House Renovations

Scorpio was engaged to perform a 7500 sf renovation to the University of Florida Delta Delta Delta Sorority House in under eight weeks. The renovations spanned the entire first floor (minus the kitchen and serving room). This included the Main Dining Room, Parlor, Library, Conference Room, Small Dining Room, Guest Suite, House Mothers Suite, and the men’s and women’s restrooms.

The men’s and women’s restroom portions called for a complete renovation. This included new wall and floor tile, new wallpaper, new plumbing fixtures, new electrical fixtures, two new louvered doors, ILO plastic partitions, new countertops, and new custom vanity. This project encompassed new LVT wood flooring throughout and a featured marble floor was installed in the main entryway. The entire first floor received new paint.

The renovation also called for the installation of new base and upper cabinets as well as new solid surface counters in House Mother’s Suite. Additional renovation to this Suite included a new large under-mounted kitchen style sink and cabinets in the bathroom. When completed the renovation included 33 new electrical fixtures and four chandeliers in the main entry and dining room along with seven new Plantation Shutters in the Main Dining Room.
