Scorpio operates under a philosophy of extreme ownership, which extracts the highest level of commitment from every team member and fosters leadership at every level. Several teams within our organization work cohesively on all our projects. This is why we call ourselves a “Team of Teams.”

Project Development Win It

Project Development is responsible for winning work and managing client relationships. This team identifies new clients, generates leads on new opportunities, and commits to pursue the work. Project Development works closely with Marketing Team members to submit project proposals, deliver presentations and ultimately win and celebrate work.

Preconstruction Contract It

The Preconstruction team is responsible for cost estimating and bidding on jobs. They also assist the Project Operations Team in procuring subcontractors and materials. This Team drives the entire project team through the design process and precon while focusing on managing budget and program requirements.

Project Operations Buy It

The Project Operations Team is responsible for monitoring the job for consistency and compliance. Team Members work collaboratively with Design Team members and oversee all aspects of the project. They work closely with the Preconstruction Team to ensure potential risks are mitigated, budgets and specifications are accurate, and schedules are realistic.

Field Operations Build It

The Field Operations Team manages our craft and trade partners and lead the on-site team daily. They are the lead points of contact on the site of each project during and after construction to address and post-occupancy or warranty issues.

Administration, Talent, & Finance Track It

Our Finance Team ensures budgets and ODP are monitored, pay applications are reviewed, proper insurance and lien releases are secured and financial risks to every project are mitigated. Our Talent Team is responsible for recruiting and hiring top-notch talent, and our Administrative Team manages our offices.

Marketing Celebrate It

Our Marketing Team is responsible for helping Scorpio win exceptional work. The team assists the Project Development Team in preparing proposals and presentations for advertised projects, as well as promoting the project from its Ground Breaking to its Ribbon Cutting.
