“Build a House for the House” with the Ronald McDonald House Charity

In December, the D.E. Scorpio Corporation was honored to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida’s Eighth Annual “Build a House for the House”. We sponsored the event and members of our team participated in the fun and festive gingerbread house building contest. It was a great way to spend time with one another while supporting such an important local cause.

In addition to participating in the event, the D.E. Scorpio Corporation spread holiday cheer by delivering gift cards to each  of the 35 families staying in the local Ronald McDonald House at UF Health on Christmas Eve.

The Ronald McDonald House Charity is a cause close to our hearts that helps families who are experiencing some of the most difficult times. We are proud to support critical organizations that help those who need it most. To learn more about our Ronald McDonald House or to get involved as a volunteer please visit Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida.

Your kindness will lift the spirits of every family – I know they will be so very surprised to receive such a thoughtful gift. Thank you for your compassion and generosity. We are honored to have your support.

– Sherry Houston, Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Central Florida Executive Director
